STATEMENT OF FAITH

THE SIMPLE GOSPEL

1.     Man- His Fall and Redemption

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and the image of God. Through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin entered into the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifest to undo the work of the devil; to give His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God. Salvation is a free gift from God to man separate from the works of the Law, which is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God. A man becomes born again by confession of his mouth and believing in his heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead then he shall be saved.

2.     The Bible  (Scriptures)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. Every Scripture is God- breathed given by his Divine inspiration. It was written down by Holy men of God as they were move on by the Holy Spirit. The Word of God is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, conviction of sin, and for training in righteousness, so that every child of God can be complete, proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work

3.     God, The Great I AM – The God Head

That He is the one true Living God, the Great I AM, and the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He is revealed in three persons: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

4.     Jesus Christ, The Son of God, The Savior of the World and his Deity

Jesus Christ, The Son of God, The Savior of the World, and Our Lord

The scriptures say that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Word that became flesh to redeem creation.

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He is the second member of the God Head. Who pre-existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus took upon Himself the form of man, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus Christ was sinless, perfect, crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is the perfect mediator between God and man. He is fully divine and fully human. He is of the same substance with the Father as to His divinity and of the same substance with us as to His humanity.

5.     He is Risen!

When  Jesus Christ died at the cross HE spent three days and three nights in the heart of the earth, and rose back to life in victory with the keys of hell and the grave. Later, He ascended to the Father and is alive making intercession for us and guiding His Body as the Head of the Church, bringing us into His image until His second coming.

6.     Holy Spirit and His Baptism of Fire

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and the promised gift of the Father that will stay with us forever. He empowers us to be the witnesses of Jesus and convicts the world of sin. He is our comforter, counselor, teacher, helper, strengthener, advocate, intercessor, and best friend.  He dwells with us and is in us through the Baptism of the Spirit. The Word of God reveals to us that Jesus is the Baptizer of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Power of God and is manifested through the believer in nine ways by the Gifts of the Spirit

7.     Salvation

Salvation is obtained by repentance and belief in Jesus Christ.

8.     Baptism in Water

Baptism in water is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ it is for believers only. It is not necessary for salvation, but is an outward sign of an inward work that the Spirit has done in the believer. This commandment is a symbol of the believers identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

9.     Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Every believer has these gifts, with different measures:

·        Prophecy

·        Service

·        Teaching

·        Encouragement

·        Giving

·        Leadership

·        Acts of Mercy

10.     Sanctification

To set apart for sacred use; consecrate. To make holy; purify. Being under the Covenant of the New Testament and no longer bound by legalism and the rules and regulations of Old Testament law. Sanctification is a work of grace that was completed on the cross through Jesus Christ. Sanctification is the process that is empowered by the grace of God that teaches us how to walk in righteousness and purity. This is how we are transformed into His image and how we seek the Kingdom and all righteousness.

11.     The Church and Five-Fold Ministry

The Church is the Body of Christ, and it is the temple of God through the Holy Spirit. The Body of Christ has the divine assignment of the Great Commission to save souls, make disciples and bring the Kingdom of God to Earth. Each believer is an integral part of the body and essential to accomplish our divine assignment.

The church was given the Five-fold ministry for the purpose of equipping the saints to evangelize to the world, to make disciples, and to edify the Saints. The Five-fold offices are Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher.

12.     End times and our Hope

The Word of God boldly declares to us that Christ shall return for His body the Church. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the blast of the trumpet of God. And all of those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first. And then all those who are living will be simultaneously caught up along with the resurrected dead in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Immediately after shall begin a period of tribulation spoken of in the book of Revelation. Again the Lord will return after the period of tribulation with His saints to earth for a period of one thousand years of peace. During this time Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit. After this one thousand years of peace Satan will be loosed and will go out to deceive the world once again. Then will come the Great White Throne Judgment for those who never received the Lord in their earthly lifetime. God will then fold up the heavens and earth and it will fade away. And a new earth and heavens will be revealed and ever will we be with the Lord.

13.     Judgement and Hell

There will be a final judgment at which all men will be judged. The wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil, his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be thrown alive into everlasting punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore had no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The lake of fire is literal. The terms “eternal” and “everlasting” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God.

14.     New Heaven & New Earth

The first Heaven and the first Earth will pass away, and He will create a new Heaven and a new Earth, where righteousness abides.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place[a] of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,[b] and God himself will be with them as their God.[c] 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
